We are pleased to welcome Christian Marks to DDRE Global.
Joining the business with a discipline-led mindset shaped by elite sport and high-performance environments, Christian brings a relationship-first approach to modern advisory.
From rowing crews to boardrooms, his perspective is grounded in consistency, accountability and trust: qualities that continue to define the next generation of advisors entering the industry.
Be persistent, be kind, and have integrity. “Persistence gets you in the room, but trust keeps you there.” That’s a quote I’ve always liked and something I genuinely live by.
I’ve competed at a high-performance level in everything from swimming to rowing to running, so I’m very accustomed to discipline and consistency.
One thing that’s different in client relationships is that although success fills your pockets, what motivates me most is that serving others fills your soul. It sounds cheesy, but you get my drift. I’m naturally a service-driven person.
I have three pugs, Dolly, Ted and Marley. They even get walked around in a pram when Dolly gets tired.
I enjoy running and connecting with others.
I wear different coloured socks every day, no matter how serious the situation is.
Rowing taught me accountability, both for myself and for the people around me. It also taught me the importance of setting an example for my crew mates and the younger generation coming through.
More than anything, it showed me that the underdog story is always the best story. Believe in yourself and believe in the people around you. We’re all in this together.
Gosh, thanks for the love. I’ve lived in Mayfair and seen how much it’s changed over the past decade. I wanted to bring emphasis to the uniqueness of the area and showcase it properly. Plus, it’s got a pretty good ring to it.
Working with CEOs of Champions League football clubs and competing against some major players in the industry has definitely been a defining part of my career so far. A lot of that came down to the value I bring as a person and the work ethic I apply to everything I do.
